Canada Post-Graduation Work Permit
A Canada Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) is a document that allows international students who have graduated from a designated learning institution (DLI) in Canada to work in Canada for up to three years after graduation. PGWPs are open work permits, meaning that holders can work for any employer in Canada in any occupation.
Eligibility for PGWP
- 1. Be an international student who has graduated from a designated learning institution (DLI) in Canada.
- 2. Have completed a full-time program of study that was at least eight months long.
- 3. Have maintained a valid study permit throughout your studies.
- 4. Have applied for the PGWP within 180 days of graduating.
